They exist, but they are not real lookups — they show stolen or fabricated data and harvest your inputs. Using them risks malware, phishing and legal exposure. Enforcement against them is increasing.

Send MNP to 667 from the new SIM before you use it for banking, wallets or WhatsApp. If the masked CNIC isn't yours, the number still legally belongs to the person it's registered to, who can request a replacement SIM at any time. Re-verify with both 668 and the portal, note the operator, call that operator to flag and block it, disown it at a franchise with your original CNIC, and file complaints with PTA (0800-55055) and NCCIA (1799) if fraud is suspected.
Your number is moved onto a criminal's SIM so they receive your OTPs — sudden total signal loss is the warning sign. Defend with monthly 668 checks, app-based 2FA instead of SMS, a SIM PIN, and treating signal loss as an emergency.
