The story — why this exists
For years, the same quiet thing kept happening across Pakistan. People who could see every SIM on their CNIC for free, in about half a minute, were instead handing money — and their CNIC — to shady "SIM database" sites selling stolen or invented data. The official, free tools (668, cnic.sims.pk, 667) were sitting there the whole time, unknown to most. We built eSim Owner Details to close that gap for good, in language anyone can follow.
Then a second problem crept in. The guides that were supposed to help started copying each other's mistakes — invented advisory dates, made-up "operations", penalties that don't actually exist in the law. Readers couldn't tell a careful, sourced fact from a number one blogger invented and forty others repeated. So we set a second rule for ourselves, and it's the one we're proudest of: publish only what we can verify — and openly correct the fictions everyone else keeps repeating.
Why any of this matters
This isn't a small inconvenience. In Pakistan, whatever happens on a SIM lands first at the door of the person it's registered to. An unauthorised SIM on your CNIC can quietly receive banking OTPs, be used for a scam, or push your identity toward its legal limit — all without you knowing. The single cheapest defence against every one of those risks is a thirty-second self-check that most people were never told existed. That's the whole reason we're here: to turn a hidden, free government tool into something every Pakistani actually knows how to use.
